WHAT IS ASSISTED LIVING?

Assisted living facilities are for people needing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) but wishing to live as independently as possible for as long as possible. Residents in assisted living centers are not able to live by themselves but do not require 24 hour acute care. Assisted living facilities offer help with ADLs such as eating, bathing, dressing, laundry, housekeeping, and assistance with medications.

DAILY LIFE

Green Acres Lodge has 33 rooms with assisted living care and 12 apartments for independent living. Each unit has a private bath that is adaptable to special needs, an emergency call system, and cable and phone connections. Residents may furnish their own rooms or they can arrange for furnished accommodations.

Each meal is served in a cheerful family-style dining room which usually sparks lively conversation while providing a splendid view of Table Rock Lake and the Ozark mountains.

ABOUT THE AREA

The community of Holiday Island is located in the foothills of the Ozarks, near Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Eureka Springs is known as the “Little Switzerland of America” and has been a point of interest for tourist for over a hundred years.

Holiday Island is well-known for the beautiful scenery, golf courses, and direct access to Table Rock Lake. The island has its own police and fire protection, medical center, pharmacy, vision center, home health and dental offices, a local grocery store, recreational facilities and a wide range of smaller businesses.

Eureka Springs Hospital and Carroll County Hospital are in close proximity to Holiday Island.

COSTS

Deposit

• A security deposit of $500 is required prior to admission.

Rent & Board

• Base fee from $1800 to $2400
   
• One bedroom suites are slightly higher than studio suites

Service Fees

• Based upon the resident's Tier (level) of care
   
• Tiers: 1, 2, 3, and 4

Customized plans are available and Medicaid Waiver is accepted.
